Bakary Jaiteh, an APRC youth militant has been appointed as Administrative Secretary No. 2 responsible for youth matters at the APRC National Bureau. The appointment took effect from December 21st 2010.
Jaiteh was an assistant commissioner for the then Western Region from 2000-2003. In a brief chat with the Daily Observer, Jaiteh said: "I am grateful to the president, the APRC party leader for the trust and confidence bestowed on me. I will do my utmost best to live up to expectation."
He said that it is an open secret that Gambian youths are fully behind the APRC party and will again re-elect President Jammeh in the upcoming 2011 Election.
