Mystery of falling birds

As investigations looms over the death of close to 5,000 birds in Arkansas, one can say with certainty that something went wrong somewhere. What makes it even more mysterious is the fact that the same bird species were affected within a mile’s range. More than likely, the particular bird species cannot withstand the chemical components of the fireworks. The number is alarming. Whatever killed these birds is capable of killing humans in a similar way, or even causing some lung diseases. One can only hope that the manufacturers of the fireworks used in the area will help in the investigations. While there is what is called “coincidence” in real life, the way this one happened seems to suggest of a foul play emanating from the fireworks, may be not at all intentional. The environmentalists are likely to hang on a strong case –a plight to see flora and fauna well preserved.
