What awaits the UDP is a future devoid of dinosaurs who were thinking was that, without them, no diaspora unit will function. Their sit and watch breed them some sour sight. We have been vibrant without some old boys and that is what is causing them to cook some bogus crisis. In fact, I am more happy than ever, because the Freedom vendetta has over the past week increase the number of particpants in our inter-continental conferences. We were overwhelmed with participants last night.
 
Hence, the old functionaries should fall in line and stop trying to pull back their so call colleagues, because the train in going.
 
Banura, yes Panderry has been searching for those whose dormancy in getting involve in Diaspora UDP means they intend to stire things in their direction. And even that, they were found unenergetic. Hence, the hura is the last of the summer wine, they cannot do anything that will hault the moving train. So for detractors likes you, sadly it is like many Freedom stories of Yahya Jammeh. when the editor say, the man is dying in hospital, as it happen he is feasting with his new found love. So the guys he is chit chatting are actually close friends who have become in active. And they are made aware of all the happenings, but if they said, they are pursuing academic studies and that, they are busy, should life stops because of that.?
All the Diaspora UDP requires is the approvals of the Secretariat in Banjul, and they have acknowledge the various Diaspora outfits at the Soma Congress. If the Panderry guest were in any way keenly following the UDP matters, they should have show that in Ousainou's statement of acknowledgement of UDP US and UDP U.K.
The crisis and your vindication. Like Pa nderry, you are not seeking the truth. All you are seeking is a genuine demise of the UDP. You will die and rot but you will never see that. And we are not appologising to any bent editor determine to appease some of his informants. Sadly for them, UDP U.S is now more vibrant than it has ever been and the members are spread in all states. So if anyone go to Pa Nderry claim he is not aware of what is happening. it is no one's fault. Those who wish to play an active part, always look for active members, they don't stay with their friend's instead of joining the moving train.This is not a club for old friends
Yes, every successful unit most expect detractors and those who will try to undermine to please their guilty hearts. But not in our case.
So, i am sorry to say, but your vindication is a false start. Go back to the drawing board. And check out Hilary and Obama debacle. Did their fallout result in crisis or in Obama losing the elections? Hell no.

Those are playing an active part contribute to the current campign, the past congress, the tour of the youth wing and many other things. Can the winging bandwagon say the same for themselves? politics is about looking to the future, if you want to relax and trade the past, you might as well, retire. we respect every single UDP member and value thier ideas and contributions. Anyone we know anywhere in diaspora, we reach out to them through phone calls and emails. I have been in contact with the folks claiming not to be aware of things happening. It is a shocking surprise. However, time is a healer. We are on the move. This is why, their is no reaon to be excited about certain relationships. remain who you are and be yourself.

I stated it earlier that their must be an organized structure within the party level and its external wings. Not everybody can jump and claim himself as a party warrior  or family member of the party .This gives you the audacity and license to speak on behalf of UDP. Frankly, speaking, I for one will not vote for such a party because it will be fool-hardy on my side , after fully known the activities, approaches and intentions of  such  people. To be more direct, those family members and their close associate will surely be the controller of the party when they come to the power.It is an open secrete also that their actions veritably epitomized by venting  their anger out even to the extent of attacking media outlets that critiques the wrongs of the party. If we want to change the present status of  our country's democratization process let it be a genuine change and changes that will never be a replica of  APRC and the PPP. I was really touched by Pa Saikou's speaks.

UDP New York Coordinator Pa Saikou Kujabi Disowns UDP USA Chapter—Saying It's Not The Party’s Official USA Chapter

Banjul, The Gambia—Gambia’s main opposition United Democratic Party (UDP) is seemingly heading towards the path of total destruction with its supporters in the United States issuing mixed messages, characterized by accusations, and counter accusations against folks perceived to be critical of the party’s leader. First to break ranks with the party was the New York City based UDP strong supporter Falai Baldeh, who demanded that the leader of the party Ousainanou Darboe should step aside, and give chance to young dynamic Gambians to lead the UDP since he Darboe is not willing to confront the dictator. Well Falai’s statement doesn’t go down well with the party’s US External Wing, who grilled him  for daring to speak out in the open without formal consultations.

Surprisingly, the UDP Coordinator in New York Pa Saikou Kujabi, said he was never consulted by what he calls the so called UDP USA Chapter.  Mr. Kujabi said there is only one UDP Chapter in New York, and the entire United States.  He cautioned that the views expressed by the group claiming to be representing the UDP party in the US,   do not necessarily represent  the views of the New York Branch. For more on this story, tuned onto Freedom Radio, where Mr. Kujabi openly disowned the UDP USA Chapter saying that they have no affiliation with the party’s New York Branch. He strongly condemned the press releases issued in the name of the Party.
