Bro Sanusi,

Thanks for your input. I wasn't aware of this revelation regards to his denial of a US visa. Even with that, I personally would disagree with him on that being sufficient reason to defect given his testimony about Jammeh’s mal-governance forehand, unless we are ready to accept the political pendulum with its many unpredictable swings. To that, I am sure Galileo will get the hanging hurricane lamp down. (Laugh). That is only if and only if his politics was driven by passion of principle.

With Mr. Touray's interview, and his mention of NRP, and how he wanted to be like NRP, I fear it is another open invitation to Hamat, the same way Ganji was able to get Njie of the NRP. I might be wallowing in my own political world. We can only cross our fingers that Hamat would turn down this open invitation. Do you by chance foresee a Hamat knocking the pendulum ball on the string as well?

Yero.

As far I am concerned Ganjie's story is plausible. The guy defected after US embassy denied him visa to join NADD leadership that was on tour.

Scary Political Spin!

Something is up and down with politics and politicians. The spin sometimes is a scary one.

Here is what Mr. Touray told me in October 2005 in an exclusive interview.

Here is what Mr. Touray recently told the DO.

In conclusion, it begs the question, thus: Is politics all about big rhetorics, big headlines, making money, and mere utterances with no consistency in meaning towards uttered at any given time? Methinks so! I am sure others who believe in the power of politics will disagree based on the fact of other consistent political leaders. To which side one belongs, the truth is politics especially that observed in most African countries is not fundamentally principled, but rather based on picking the master’s crumbs like a pet doggie yearning for more and more crumbs at any time from the fat master on the high chair.
