With a general population of about 40,000, commune 4 is a borough of Bamako and is densely populated. It also has become the administrative capital of Mali with significant industrial growth during the past decade.
RPM of IBK used to be the administrative party of commune 4, a function they shared somewhat with Adema, the largest and oldest political party among the contenders.

It is worth noting that Mara used to be in Adema but that party refused to nominate him as its mayoral candidate for Commune 4 even though Mara lives in that commune. That was when Mara decided to stand as independent candidate drawing some support from all the other parties.

Needless to say, RPM and IBK were insensed at the brash and confidence of the young Mara. So they mounted a legal challenge against Mara's first win (which was successful) that led to the annulment of Mara's pioneer win. This temporary setback as it were, would be triumphantly overtuned tonight and there would be a new party to manage the affiars of Commune 4.

I encourage RPM and IBK to now work with Mara and Yelema for the further growth and prosperity of the people of Commune 4. RPM has a lot to offer the young Yelema and Mara and were it not for providential competition, Yelema and RPM are made from the same loin.

Haruna.
