Does the Khalif General of the Mouride just accept any contribution? Is it not his responsibility as a religious leader to scrutinize the gifts he accepts? The religious order in our neighborhood are in league with criminal leaders in Africa. I'm sure the Khalif General read about Yaya celebrating his HIV/AIDS fraud of an anniversary, does he believe the fraud can cure HIV/AIDS? He or the people around him is aware of what this criminal and murder is doing in the Gambia, but when it comes to gifts with these dealers, see no evil, hear no evil, and certainly do not acknowledge any evil. This tells me if I were to sell drugs and destroy people's lives and gifted $100,000 to the Khalif General, he will not only thank me for my gift, but to also pray that "Feme Jogey Naffa Yooku". When a person appreciates a fraud, they are themselves are engage in fraudulent behavior. There is no difference between the behavior of the Senegalese musicians and the Khalif General.

Cheikh Sidi Moukhtar Mbacke, the Khalif General of the Mouride in Touba, Senegal, has written to the Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh expressing his profound gratitude for his [President Jammeh’s] significant contribution to the Magal of Touba 2011.
The message reads: I wish to hereby transmit to Your Excellency my warmest greetings and to acknowledge receipt of your important contribution to the Magal. I am very appreciative of the gesture and in the name of the Mouride sect and in my own name, I want to immensely thank Your Excellency.
This symbolic gesture is once more testimony to the profound and secular relations that exist between Senegal and The Gambia. Thus, allow me Your Excellency, to renew on this auspicious occasion, the relations that existed between you and my predecessors, as well as the Mouride Brotherhood. Furthermore, I want to affirm my resolve to reinforce these relations, by the grace of Allah and His Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessing Be upon Him).
