Senegalese Writers Association Presents PEACE Award To President Jammeh!

BANJUL, THE GAMBIA—A Head of State, who prides himself with many titles, Gambia’s President received yet another Peace award, this time from the Writers Association of Senegal yesterday at the State House in Banjul. He was hailed for his untiring efforts to promote PEACE in Africa. The Group suddenly dominated Primetime news here in Banjul, when Mr. Jammeh, and his close confidants welcomed them to present the much celebrated award.
The Senegalese Writers Association said they were inspired by Mr. Jammeh's leadership role, and dedication towards the promotion of peace, and stability in the region. They described Jammeh as a “PanAfricanist” whose peace work transcends beyond Gambia’s frontiers.
A joyous Yahya Jammeh, thanked the Association for the kind gesture saying that “ I’m delighted to be presented with such an award.” He said his mission is clear to all and sundry—that’s to promote peace, stability, and the unification of the African continent. He reaffirmed his commitment to work with the Association in the promotion of peace in the region.
