Brother Karim, the quiet soldier. You must be commended for all your yeoman's work. Indeed, you introduced me to Pa Modou and his plight. The ensuing and brilliant acquaintance with Pa Modou was your doing and facilitation. I have a new-found friend in Pa Modou and the people of Liverpool including Katy Ann Bellis and her friends because of you. For that I thank you and I'm ever so grateful.

I bring to your attention that Katy Anne had lost a family member during this period of Pa Modou's trials. I know you join me in conveying to her, through Pa Modou, our condolences and best wishes.

Haruna.

I couldn't have done it without the support of Dr. Ebrima Ceesay,
who wrote a brilliant report for us and Amnesty International.
Musa Saidykhan also wrote a briliant affidavit for us, Yusupha Cham,
Mai K Fatty, Mathew K Jallow, Essa Bokar Sey, Ndey Tapha Sosseh
the list is infinite.

Haruna, you, Karim Sanneh, Yero and the Gainako Team, Nderry and
Freedomnewspaper, Yankuba Jambang and Senegambianews.

You all deserve a huge thanks.

I did have a pretty good feeling that we were going to win the appeal; but
I was shocked when the Immigration Judge G. Bruce stopped me in the middle
of my submissions to inform me that she has allowed Pa Modou's appeal.

Very unusuall for an asylum case to be allowed on the spot, but this one did.

As she rightly expressed, the Gambian preseident is a lunatic and she cannot
gamble on Mr Bojang safety by sending him back to such a lunatic; which the
Home Office lawyers was advocating.

I am pleased for Pa Modou but the support he received from the Gambians and
British alike were overwhelming.

I now feel very much relieved that it is all over. The pressure placed on me for this
case was much, but all of our efforts were worth it.

The Pa Modou Bojang case is now closed and I look forward to my next adventure.

Brethren Yanks

This is great news, Yanks has done it finally. Pa Modou can now focus on other matters of life. May Yanks Darboe's good human spirit live with him. His dedication and representation of distress Gambians is noteworthy. Keep it up Yanks and stay good.
