Thank you Kukeh for sharing. This is unfortunate for IB because I thought he was serious when he proclaimed his forces would lay down their arms and stand behind the duly elected government of Ivory Coast. It is true that there was some bad blood between IB and Soro but this is a bad time to prosecute that bad blood. A much heavier price is at stake for Ivory Coast than a festering feud between two of her citizens.

I encourage IB's forces to lay down their arms so the country can accord IB a fitting burial. I also encourage PM Soro to accord them due consideration and assimilate them into the National Army or civil society as they desire, much like the remnants of Gbagbo and Goude's militia. That will be good for Ivory Coast.
