Indeed Buharry, I was aware you attended school in Alabama but did not know where. Thank you for your comforting words. I maintain a summer home between Alabama and Georgia and although I have been lucky (my home is a wooded lot on a hillside) many more were not as fortunate. The dangerous thing about tornadoes is that they hop-scotch around and do not trail along a particular direction. President Obama has made a trip already and our Homeland Security Chief Hon. Janet Napolitano is concluding her own assessment tour. They have pledged the assistance of the Federal government to the people and businesses of Alabama and Georgia. Some 200 people lost their lives in Alabama alone. I will have the new mayor of Commune-4 Mali as a guest soon. I intend to take him on a tour of Tuscaloosa so he can see firsthand what Alabama's experience is in disaster recovery. Please inform me in private or here what the lay of the land is. I understand the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa did not suffer damages but some student housing fell victim. Thanx again Buharry for you. Haruna. -----Original Message----- From: M. HI Haruna! The storms were indeed devatstating. My heart goes out to the people affected especially the people of Tuscaloosa, Alabama where I went to school and spent three of the formative years of my adult life. Have a good evening.
