On behalf of the Sarahulleh community, the Sarahulleh youth development Organisation and its regional office in Basse wish to thank you, Your Excellency Sheikh Professor Dr Alh Yaya AJJ Jammeh, President of the Republic of The Gambia, for creating an enabling environment for freedom of movement from across the length and breadth of the country. This is another implementation of, one of the principles of fundamental human rights. The dismounting of unnecessary police checks points in the country especially along the way to URR.

All the fifty Sarahulleh communities in URR and its Urban settlers are more than happy for you, for your vigilance about community policing, especially between civilians and the security forces. Gambians especially Sarahullehs from abroad feel proud to be home now, without harassment for bringing articles for their own use back home.

We wish to join the repatriated Gambians to commend Your Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhagi Yahya AJJ Jammeh for your timely response in repatriating Gambians from conflict torn Libya. This magnanimous move is not amazing because every responsible government responds to the needs and aspirations of its citizens no matter where they may be in the universe. We understood that you are ever ready, eager and determined to fulfill the needs and aspirations of Gambians and Africans at large. It is well noted that you are the only President who repatriated nationals of other nations, along with those of his own country from the conflict.

This shows your unrelenting determination, commitment and dedication to African development and the philosophies of Pan Africanism. It is evident that you champion the alliance for patriotism reorientation and protection of Gambians and Africans in general. We are also thanking Your Excellency for distributing tractors to all regional governors and their district chiefs from different regions of The Gambia, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and other deserving communities and institutions. This is also a clear manifestation for the passion you have for mechanized agricultural production and enhancement, as a means of getting rid of hunger, and embrace food self-sufficiency for Gambians to eat what they grow.
