The APRC Youth coordinator for Kombo Central has expressed gratitude and appreciation to the president of the Republic, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya A. J. J. Jammeh for awarding him MRG national honour.

In an interview with this reporter, Lamin Kulo Jatta recalled that no youth in Kombo Central ever thought of receiving such an award during the First Republic. He pointed out that today, whoever is contributing to national development will one day be recognised by the government. 

He called on Gambians, especially the young people, to rally behind the Gambian leader for development, stressing that the Jammeh administration is doing all it can for the country, particularly the young people. 

He also urged the youths of Kombo Central to go back to the land and make best use of the tractors donated by the president in order to alleviate poverty.
