Laye handles the technical side of things, and I have full confidence in his ability to handle virtually all issues in that sphere. Ceesay and I are happy to leave this side of things in the hands of Laye.

As there appears to be a general issue with AOL,  ATT Jr must decide how he intends to proceed vis-a-vis the address he subscribes on the L, Ellen to him.

Your Brother Haruna is a most cantankerous client with a penchant for needless protocol. I think the Professor should make him a "friggin" (his pet word) ambassador to Washington, or some sort of emissary to the UN in New York.

And because noisy and cantankerous is what the general post-Professor Gambia is likely to be, we have a high tolerance for speech.

Bro Haruna:

Take Dr. Jaiteh's offer of a gmail as an alternate e-mail. Gmail is very user friendly.

With regards to Lie, I suggest you don't tie him alone then. Get his partners in crime -I mean both Ceesay and LJD all in one bundle. I am able and willing to help only then. That would be after I am done with this Indian guy who is calling Gambians 'lazy black monkeys.'

Jokes aside, if the aol continually gives you problems, just create  a gmail account for the list. You would have closed a whole chapter.

Good night Haruna!

Is it nostalgia?  fear or letting it go, or  fear that broadband will go burst one day and only the privileged few with @aol.com against their name will be allowed to dial-up?
I say let go this thing of the past and get yourself a gmail account.

When Laye shares notes with us, I receive it right away, with all the problems of Aol, Listserv, and god knows what. WhenI or another Ellen coleague shares a note, I receive it 5 days later. Bro Haruna:
I am sorry about the problems you are having with AOL. Here is a message I saw last week, not sure whether you received it.

Between you and the Gambia-L team, I hope you get a resolution on this soon. I am certain it is not something intended to target you, despite the differences in opinion we might have once in a while. What we have in common is more than our little differences.

Thanks for all the forwards and I enjoy going through them. Keep them coming.......

To the contrary Yero, I appreciate your effort in google-translating shared material here. It is second-best to my transummaries but valuable nonetheless when another coleague or I am not able to translate. Please feel free to google-translate anytime. I was alerted to your effort so I had to go to the archives in order to acknowledge it. Laye is still fucking with my mail. Aol and Listserv my big beautiful black arse. We'll be lucky if this makes it to Ellen.

Thanks for sharing on our mutually loved one, President Jonathan. I wish him a great tenure of office. It was nice to see Zuma in attendance, of course and the great many of them in attendance.

Happy belated memorial day. I hope you don't mind the google translate on your forwarded text.

AFP.
