Folks, call Ndey Tapha "Jaboyong" or whatever name, the lady deserve commendation. She is firm and dedicated to service in the interest of our country especially journalism in particular. But
Hey, your Royal Highness Sankanu ( did i address you right? let me know so i can take some lessons from LJD who has mastered how to become a subject of a crown prince and the proper way to address them), could you please help us with the clear information of this betrayal thing you have been bombarding us with all these days? Doing that would be better if not you just save us our reading time. No position in the GPU executive is a birth right to any body. Ndey Tapha was massively voted in as president in 2008. There was no betrayal then i don't think there is any this time around. I personally would have opted to have Ndey re-elected for a second term but
hey, the voters did make their choices known. I am also disappointed as some level but did not bother my self with some supposed betrayal. And also, why do you think writing to the GPU partners as you claim to do is a good thing to do? You are ascribing all the good work of the GPU to Ndey Tapha alone as an individual. Of course, Ndey is phenomenal worker and organiser but not every good thing acheived by the GPU belonged to her. The GPU of 2008-11 worked as a team. Even those out of the jurisdiction of the Gambia had the opportunity to take part in decision making of the executive. --- On Wed, 6/29/11, Prince Bubacarr Sankanu <[log in to unmask]> wrote:
