Sorry about this outcome but take heart that you had given it your best shot. Visa decisions are Not in your hands and besides, you have a programme of activities over the weekend, thus this setback is just one part of a set of many other interesting things still happening.
Followers should think of July 4th Weekend Celebrations not just an artist coming to perform....

AGERA PRESS RELEASE
After several months of working hard to bring one of the famous Senegalese band to the July Fourth due to public demand, but unfortunately we will have to wait for another opportunity. The Assan Njie slated for Sunday, July 03, 2011 has been postponed till further notice due to visa issues with the band that could not be finalized on time. AGERA and the entire membership extend our deepest apology for the disappointment, and will continue with our commitment to elevate the July Fourth program as demanded by our community.
The Assan Njie Sunday show will be replaced by our owned Gambian Artists: Abou & FaFa, Pa Omar Jack and Nancy Nantz, they have already arrived in Atlanta to make the July Fourth a memorable one for all of you. In addition, the price structure for Sunday is also been adjusted accordingly due to cost structure, to $20.00 flat.
