I did not say all political science majors or degree-holders are criminals. I am sharing the value or lack thereof of a Political science education. If you are a criminal prior to studying political science, the curriculum does not offer secours for rehabilitation (transformation). If you are a criminal while studying political science, you will more likely be given opportunity to become a greater criminal. If you become a criminal after earning your doctorate in political science, well that says it all. I encourage you to look at the political science curriculum of any university in the world. Perhaps you will better appreciate what I mean. Then look at the same university's Law, Engineering, medical, or Accountancy curriculum. I generally shy away from judging people. I focus on eliminating criminals from our midst. You will be pleased to know there are criminals in other disciplines. However those disciplines offer greater opportunities for rehabilitation and reconsideration than Political Science and Marketing. On your take on political science, I have a different perspective, though I agree with you on the idiocy you highlighted regards to some of the criminals among the lot, especially the lacking in attitude (criminal trait) transformation. Remember, anybody can be a Dr. of political science. It does not require any transformation. If you were a thief, murderer, rapist, etc. before or while acquiring the doctorate, you will remain so (perhaps improved those crafts) after you receive the diploma. There are a few majors and areas of academy that do not go with commensurate maturity and development of the person. Political Science is one of them. Marketing is another.
