concern to  Government of Nigerian through Nigerian High Commission in
London. Fellow Gambian and concerned global citizens, given the fact that
Federal Republic of Nigeria is the current Chair of ECOWAS COMMITTE OF HEAD
OF STATES of Economic Community of West African States, we want to appeal to
them to raise the following concerns with the Gambian authorities:-

> 1.       To immediately end incommunicado detention and enforced
disappearances, and ensure that security personnel who engage in these
practices are brought to justice in fair trials.

> 2.       To investigate cases of extrajudicial execution by security
forces, and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice in fair
trials.

> 3.        To grant access to family members and lawyers for all prisoners.
>
> 4.       To comply with obligation under the African Charter with regard
to the right to liberty, freedom from torture, right to fair trail, freedom
of expression and of association.

> As part of the event of this year Gambia Global Day of Action, please take
action now! Write and sent to raise your concern  to President Yahya Jammeh
 to address the four above-mentioned concern. Please also appeal to Common
Wealth Secretary General Kamalesh Sharma.  Asking him to raise concern with
the Gambian authorities for also concern stated aboved. Please sent your
