You did a good job coordinating with Amnesty, and the task now is to build on the existing goodwill. Just remember that face to face meetings are not the way to go, and you must not insist on that.
In this day and age, we must use the available technology to communicate. I argued this in 2009 when the now defunct Coalition for Human Rights was being formed, and although we exchanged no notes on it, Dave Manneh advanced the same argument recently.
Can you please liaise with Amnesty for any photos from the demonstration as the pictures from your camera appear to be too unclear.

They want to thanks you all for your present at The Gambia Day of Action on Friday. As they stated after the Day of action your efforts in the Gambia campaign enable them in their research and advocacy. Given that Sisters like Sarata, Nyima and Khaddy are take the lead now in the campaign, let us now take a back seat and follow their calls for congress in reactivating Gambia Human Rights Coalition. The organisation belong to the people and the every few who resign without calling congress and boycott the day we will move on. If you belief in the principles you advocate think twice.
