Bro Mbobe,

I am equally glad to know all is well with you and yours. The bigger picture remains those innocent victims whose lives were cut short. They didn't deserve what they went through.

I join the many of you in condemning the terror act in the strongest terms. It is clear that terror doesn't have to come from Islamic extremists only, as is the planted notion in many folks.

It is however sad, and my relentless prayers goes to the victims of terror everywhere, whether terror of Gov't (nations), association (groups), or even individuals acting on their own insanity. Terror of all sorts leaves no one safe.

Olfactor,

We're glad you're safe. One of the problems of gratuitous crime is its randomness and corrosiveness (copy-cat). No one is safe from such crimes, even the criminal and his/her family. Such crimes are generally attributed to animals.

Glad you're ok though.

Haruna.

Hi LJD,

As they say here in Norway, 'tusen takk' (thank you very much) for thinking about me.  I am safe and all of my family members here are as well.

Indeed, where the bombing took place is very central and is a place anyone could have found oneself.

Thanks bro and all the best,

Mboge

Not particularly worried either him or other native Gambians would be on Utoeya Island, but central Oslo is of course more of a common public space.

Stay safe Mboge
