It is a capitulation on the part of Obama and the democrats. You guys can blame it on the tea party all you want. The tea party ain't nothing but a bunch of republicans demanding of their elected officials what they want to see happen. Obama keeps triangulating for the fable independents while demoralizing his base. You think Johnny looking for a job cares about deficits?

This is the same strategy Obama took during the stimulus debate. Liberals caution him about the size of the package, he didn't listen. He cut a deal with the tea-baggers. He calls them hostage takers, but keep negotiating with them on their terms. 

On the subject of list management, I don't owe you an explanation. You can conjure up whatever fancy you.

Thank you Faatohmaa for sharing. You noticed I'm trying to ignore his behind. He just became listmanager here at Ellen a couple of weeks ago, and he wants to pick a fight with the BIG DOG of Ellen. Caesar should have the common courtesy to share with us that he is now a listmanager, because prior, he had indicated on numerous occasions that he is not and does not desire to be. Propriety suggests he inform all list members when he changes his mind on material matter.

I think it's unfair to criticize the president. The GOP/TEA party is out to destroy him and he no choice but to do what's best for the country right now.if the country defaults, guess who get the blame. Ofcourse the president. Am nit happy with the outcome either, but the fight continues. By the way he is not gonna be one termed.in the end, liberals. Independents and progressives and even moderate conservatives will all be behind him because there is no better alternative.
