On Biya, that man is sacrilegious. I'm not sure if the opposition is any better. But if he killed his wife for her suggesting term limits, then Biya will pay for that crime. President or no President.
As far as Cameroon goes, if there is evidence of vote fraud, as much as I acknowledge the democratic advancement in this election, the opposition MUST insist on a do-over of the election. It is never too late to DEMAND a do-over of severely malignant elections. I would rather they boycotted the elections simply due to the UNFAIRNESS accrued by Biya and his party relying on incomparable national resources prior to and during the campaign. Be that as it may, it is still not late to DEMAND a redo. And the demand does not have anything to do with whoever declared the elections free and fair. If enough Cameroonians perceived the elections to be GROSSLY unfair (without the unfairness Biya would have lost hands down), then the elections should be redone.

Again no matter what the oppositions do in Cameroon, The brutal Tyrant stupid PAUL BIYA, would want to stay till death do him part with the presidency.
He thinks he is more married to the presidential palace than even present his wife. Remember he was accused of killing his first wife on rumours of her wanting a presidential term limit and him BIYA stepping down after two term so that she and her children can live in peace without fears of coup affecting them.
These African leaders are real children of the DEVIL himself.

The observer mission noted a significant number of unclaimed voter registration cards and the non-security of ballots in several precincts. However, they were satisfied with the conduct of the election, free of intimidation, and well publicized voter lists. They were also satisfied with the performance of ELECAM in its first ever election management in Cameroon. ELECAM members are from civil society and not from any of the contesting parties. This does NOT mean that they do not belong to any parties. This seems a novel idea but I'd like to know how they were appointed.
It was also a great day for Cameroon because for the first time, diaspora Cameroonians were enabled to VOTE through their embassies abroad. All contending parties were represented at these embassy votings. NICE.

Après les élections présidentielles tchadiennes d’avril 2011, Ibrahim Boubacar KEITA (IBK), ancien Premier ministre malien, a été une nouvelle fois désigné par le Président de la Commission de l’Union africaine (UA), Jean Ping, pour mettre son expérience au service d’une mission d’observation électorale.
Arrivé à Yaoundé le 7 octobre 2011 pour superviser la présidentielle camerounaise du 9 octobre 2011, IBK a aussitôt pris langue avec son équipe composée d’une douzaine d’observateurs venus de différents pays africains. Dans un contexte où de nombreux commentateurs estimaient cette élection sans enjeu, IBK a rappelé que "le sens de la mission de l’UA, n’était pas de porter un jugement, mais d’observer le déroulement du scrutin pour relever les aspects négatifs et positifs, et ainsi contribuer à l’amélioration du processus électoral au Cameroun ".
La veille du vote, le président du Rassemblement pour le Mali (RPM) et sa délégation ont ainsi multiplié les contacts avec les acteurs impliqués dans le processus électoral. Ils ont notamment été reçus par Henri Eyebe Ayissi, Ministre des relations extérieures, qui a facilité l’obtention des accréditations nécessaires. Ce dernier a fait part des actes posés par le gouvernement pour augmenter la participation, à savoir la gratuité de la carte d’identité, et le vote ouvert pour la première fois aux camerounais vivant à l’extérieur. Par la suite, les observateurs de l’UA se sont également entretenus avec la direction de la Commission électorale camérounaise (ELECAM), l’organisme indépendant en charge d’organiser l’élection, ainsi qu’avec les autres missions d’observation. Celle de l’Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) était dirigée par l’ancien président burundais, Pierre Buyoya, ami du Mali.
Sur le terrain, dans plusieurs régions du pays (Yaoundé, Douala, Bafoussam, Bamenda, Ebolowa), que le chef de mission de l’UA et ses collègues ont pu observer le déroulement du vote en visitant au total 150 bureaux. Au registre des imperfections, ils ont notamment pu constater " le manque de bulletins de vote pour certains candidats, même si cela a été corrigé ensuite par les représentants d’ELECAM, les urnes mal scellées dans certains bureaux de vote, le non retrait de nombreuses cartes d’électeurs, la très faible présence des représentants des partis politiques, et finalement, l’affluence peu élevée ". Cela dit, compte tenu du fait qu’ELECAM, créée en 2009, organisait sa première élection, la mission d’observation a fait part de " sa satisfaction sur le respect des procédures de vote, l’acheminement dans les délais requis du matériel électoral, l’affichage adéquat des listes électorales, et le positionnement d’isoloirs garantissant le secret du vote ".
Le président sortant Paul Biya a reçu les observateurs de l’OIF, de l’UA, et du Commonwealth le 11 octobre 2011, deux jours après le vote. Lors de cet entretien, IBK a évoqué avec le chef de l’Etat le déroulement du scrutin, les voies d’amélioration du processus électoral, et ils ont tous deux regretté la mort de deux gendarmes et d’une militante le jour du vote. Le point presse qui a suivi la visite au Palais d’Etoudi (présidence de la République camérounaise) a permis à IBK de faire observer une minute de silence en la mémoire des trois disparus. Il a ensuite fait le bilan de sa mission, en indiquant que " sur l’ensemble des territoires couverts, l’élection présidentielle du 9 octobre a globalement respecté les critères exigés, malgré les imperfections relevées ". " La présence d’IBK a honoré l’Afrique grâce à la justesse et la mesure de ses propos ", selon l’ensemble des acteurs, y compris John Fru Ndi, principal opposant.
