9 hours until midnight's FEC deadline, and $12,000 left to raise. If we
fall short, and Republicans outraise us, the political analysts will say
our momentum has evaporated. Republicans – fueled by Karl Rove's
millions – will pick up steam. And they will gain the four Senate seats
they need for total control of Congress. Imagine what Washington would
be like with Eric Cantor, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell calling all
the shots.
Can
you give $5 by midnight? Your gift might be the one that helps us beat
the Republicans – and keeps the Senate in Democratic hands.
If we hit this FEC goal, we'll have resources to fight another
day. If we don't, it could create an unstoppable wave of momentum for
