Maafanta transforms into UDP propaganda machine!

Dear Editor,

Please allow me to respond to the article captioned “PDOIS should cut the crap” which is purportedly written by Joe 
Sambou.  For the record the purported disjointed write-up is actually exchanges between Joe Sambou and Modou 
Nyang on the Gambia L, therefore, calling it an article on its own is outright misleading.

One would expect that a respected and seasoned journalist like you would have been guided by the journalistic ethics of 
fairness by publishing both sides of the arguments, since Joe Sambou was not arguing with himself.  If the Daily 
Observer newspaper had published this misleading and one-sided story, I would not be surprised, but in all honesty, I 
was deeply staggered when I saw that caption.

I have no problem with you or anybody having a divergent view from PDOIS, but I would hope that you will not let your 
frustration impede your fairness thus transforming a reputable paper like yours into a mouthpiece and propaganda 
machine of the UDP.

My STGDP Senator of Maryland. Please jump out of the partisan box just for a minute. Take a deep breath and let's 
talk. Maafanta a UDP propaganda machine????? Please scroll on all maafanta pages and see if you can back that 
accusation up with all this articles from the PDOIS camp.

Senator, these are tough times and Gambia is not Singapore at the moment so maafanta cannot afford to  squander the 
little chance we have to take a shot at APRC. People are getting killed in the Gambia everyday, time and passion is of 
essence here and we cannot exhaust ouselves on partisanship. Maafanta will back any quick fix to oust Yaya Jammeh, 
be it a coalition or or a revolution. These are hard and trying times and tough decisions are to be made. Please Jump 
out of the partisan box and help make that happen fast. You know, you and I cannot fight.

Forget about Musa Jeng , Joe Sambou, Banka Manneh,  LJD and Haruna. Remember, YOU ARE THE SENATOR. 
You can make things happen!
