I don't know the details but it is being reported that the same thugs who attacked Diaz ( opposition PS Youth Leader and Mayor of the Sicap Mermoz) at his office had just been to intimidate Professor Abdoulaye Bachilly who was luckily not at his house.  I guess given the escalation of violence mostly being perpetrated by the PDS thugs one will understand why Diaz fired on to these marauding supporters of Wade.  At least Barthelemy Diaz lived up to his reputation.  He has said earlier that the violence being visited on to the Senegalese people will end up on door steps of Wade and his goons who are the originators.  AN EYE FOR AN EYE, simple he had warned.  3 people were injured and one has subsequently died from his injuries.  As noted by Alioune Tine of the human rights group RADHO  most of the political violence is being orchestrated by Wade's PDS with impunity.  Tine himself has been on the recieving end of such violence and there is yet to be any justice.  All this because WADE refuses to respect the Senegalese constitution which disallows him to stand for another term.  Wade seem to be goin Quaddafis way.  Madness and sad.
