REASON TO GET OUT OF BED THIS MORNING

A group of NYU students has found a way to use those last few cents
left on your metro card—unused cash that adds up to $52 million a
year. Their organization, MetroChange, encourages NYC residents and
visitors to swipe their cards at a kiosk that donates the money to a
charity instead of leaving it in the trash.
