Haruna,
How does a Republican like Scott Brown plan to win in Massachusetts this year?
By talking about anything except how he votes and whose side he's on.
Scott Brown's plan is to talk about my family's heritage -- and to tell me how I grew up.
Just
yesterday, he called my mother a liar -- and then he smirked to
reporters when told I said that attacking my deceased parents is
offensive.
If that's all you've got, Scott, I'm ready.
You can talk
about my family, but I'm ready to talk about your votes. And let me be
clear: I'm not backing down. I didn't get in this race to fold up the
first time I got punched.
Right now,
I'm on a train to Springfield for the Massachusetts Democratic
Convention. I'm joining thousands of dedicated men and women who are
already knocking on doors, making phone calls, and talking to voters
about what's at stake if Scott Brown is reelected. I'm asking for their
votes -- and I'm asking for their help.
I'm ready to work -- and so are the thousands of people joining me this weekend. Now I need you to be right there with them.
This is our moment. Are you ready?
Thank you for being a part of this,
Elizabeth
