Subject: [G_L] Thank You UK For The Hospitable Reception Accorded To Editor M’Bai! - NICE!!!

Thank You UK For The Hospitable Reception Accorded To Editor M’Bai!

It’s vacation time! I’m having good time in Nottingham UK. My host Seedy Ceesay and his wonderful family are taking good care of me. I’m very grateful to the Ceesay family. I will dedicate a special travel diary on my UK trip, upon my return home in the United States. The diary will feature my trip; the fine and generous fans I met in the UK and the hospitality accorded to me during my two week vacation. It will be an interesting read. Do not miss my special travel diary.
My host seems to know my favourite African diet. I have been well fed with “Cherreh, Benachin, Afra, and Salad Ganarr.” I am living large here. I am being treated like a King, or celebrity of that sort! No kidding! The camera follows me everywhere I go, and the beautiful smiles coming from the heart of Nottingham, and elsewhere around the UK. Clean city with a wonderful landscape and nice people. Each city I go, I will be thinking like it’s the best.
The weather is fantastic compared to the US, where people are melting due to high temperature. It’s hot in the US. The temperature was over 90 yesterday, when I called home to touch base with my family, and friends.
As a rural boy, I am familiar with warm weather, but the one in Raleigh is just too much. I am glad that I am here enjoying quality time with my fans, well wishers, and colleagues. This is my first European tour and I look forward to making more visits God willing.
As usual, Fanafanas likes “Cherreh Basseh,” and yes my host had “Cherreh” in abundance for me. I feel like I am back home in the Gambia. I feel good when I had Cherreh in the morning, with a glass of the local Gambian brew attaya. Thank you the SeneGambian community in the UK. I am exceedingly happy with the kind reception accorded to me.
For the past few days, I have been here, my UK phone constantly kepyt ranging. It’s a kind of a hotline. It’s busier than the UK Emergency 999 number. Just kidding! Freedom fans in the UK, Europe, and around the globe are calling me registering their “appreciation for the excellent job Freedom Newspaper and Freedom Radio is doing” in holding the mafia regime in Banjul accountable. I have been amazed by the high volume of phone calls I received within my short stay here. Men, women, young and the elder, they all phoned to say “ Pa Nderry welcome to the UK.”
I heard from people I missed for years. As I’m penning this short report my phone kept ranging. I hope Seedy Ceesay will not continue to receive phone calls from my number after my return home to the US.
Frankly speaking, I have never been accorded such hospitable reception in my lifetime! I have never known that the Freedom Newspaper is so popular and appreciated in Great Britain, Europe, Africa, and elsewhere around the globe until my recent UK trip. People contacted me as far as Africa registering their joy for my trip. Some even personally extended an invitation to pay them a visit in the future.
The folks in Sweden have been working on buying us air tickets to meet with fans out there. We are overbooked with invitations from the Gambian community abroad. They all “wanna” see Pa Nderry! The man monster Jammeh cannot stand due to his frankness, outspokenness, and bravery in keeping his people alive with the realities affecting their daily lives under Jammeh’s misrule. Mr. M'Bai represents the oppressed Gambians. He represents the voiceless. He is their mouthpiece if you like!
Editor M’Bai wants to empower his people through an uncensored news medium, while dictator Jammeh’s main agenda is to keep Gambians under perpetual darkness. Mr. Jammeh wants to kill Gambians, steal from them, strip them off naked of their God given rights to freedom speech, expression and association, and yet he (Jammeh) expects that no one should put him on check. But Mr. M’Bai said hell no! He has decided to go against Jammeh’s dictates by putting his life, including that of his own family, and colleagues on the line by volunteering to become Gambia’s communication engine by defusing dictator Jammeh’s propaganda and misinformation campaign. Mr. Jammeh on a daily basis spew bogus stories on the pages of the pages of the Daily Observer--with the ultimate objective of fooling our people. But Gambians are increasingly getting aware of Jammeh's lies and misinformation campaign.
Jammeh hates us because he doesn’t want us to feed our people with factual information that will wake them from the perpetual slumber and darkness he puts them all these years. Jammeh hates us because he doesn’t Gambians to have access to credible and uncensored news information. Jammeh hates us because he doesn’t want us to report each time he steal from Gambians. Jammeh hates because he doesn’t want us to expose his secret killing of Gambians. Jammeh hates us because he doesn’t want us to report accountability, probity, and justice in this onetime fine country called the Gambia.
Left with Jammeh alone, there will be no press, or opposition group in the Gambia. He wants to commit crimes without no one holding him to account. He perpetrates economic crime, crimes against humanity, and all sort of vices inimical to the peace and stability of the Gambia. Thank you Gambia. Thank you UK. Looking forward to meeting you at the London, and Nottingham meetings. This is your patriotic son Pa Nderry M’Bai having good time in the heart of the UK.
