The duo should also consider proceedings of malicious prosecutions against the state for proffering such ridiculous charges against their persons. For unless someone start doing that, the state will continue to act like the clowns they did in this case and continue to harass innocents who want to exert their rights to demonstrate. This in my opinion is the only way folks can apply for permits without being persecuted for that act, which may be a prerequisite for any meaningful peaceful demonstrations. Congratulations to them though for standing their ground and hopefully they will not be cowed in surrendering their rights to gather and demonstrate.
