Malik & Nyang:

I just read the foroyaa report. http://www.foroyaa.gm/index.php/burning-issues/11584-what-happened-at-mile-two-prisons-developing-story

Apart from the prison's poor conditions, the selection in pardoning certain prisoners and not others is a cause for concern.

On a more serious note, I think the NAM didn't know what he was saying. I hope employees of Taranga Radio, the Daily News and Standard Newspaper will hear him talk about Jammeh's respect for the press. Is he really serious?

Thanks

Guys let this moron say as much as he wish, the truth can never be shield, as recently as Saturday there were riots in Mile 2 this news had already transmitted into the public domain, the prisoners can no longer tolerate the inhumane conditions they are kept in, hence the protests. In today's foroyaa report it is mentioned albeit not detailed but reliable sources had confirmed that for two nights the prisoners  took a stand. The army had to be called in to quell the riots. How can any one in their right state of mind deny that the prison conditions in Gambia are bad?

Sarjo:

Greetings. Well said.  Take a look at the above link.  http://dailynews.gm/africa/gambia/article/ex-prisoner-alleges-frequent-death-at-mile-2

How can all these narations  be wrong??

The debate is beyond to whether the prison conditions in Mile Two are bad or not. The conditions there are at the mercy of hell fire. The credit we can give to Dr. Janneh on this is he did mention about the Mile Conditions even while in prison in one of his court appearances. I was wondering where this mighty NAM was at the material time. Two things comes to mind. These folks are either in self-denial, hypocritical or both. My conclusion most of the time is that they are consumed by Jammeh's deceptive nature. The funny part is, it is a funny seat they are in. In less than a month, we have seen how Waa Juwara who was hitting the headlines there calling Halifa as "the biggest fool" is now the biggest fool himself. For a political smart like Juwara and with all the torture meted to him, no one would have thought he will get that low.

Anyway, watch and see how Jammeh will sacrifice more of these big noise makers. Seriously, the house is going down.

Thanks for your rejoinder.

Best regards,
Yero

> Typical case of insincerity and selfishness These are people who chose to adore Jammeh as sent by God. They are the enablers that need tackling along their gang leader Jammeh. Together with the killer wingers, these are people with knife on the throat of morality and justice. Thanks for sharing Yero.

"Everybody is a living testimony that there is a clinic at the Mile Two Central Prison and that all inmates are accorded the opportunity and escort to health facilities, particularly the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital should they complain of any health problems that need attention."

These have been provided thanks to President Jammeh's ardent desire and belief in the independence of the press, responsible journalism and the freedom of the press."]

> Without a doubt, we still have some of these NAMS in their own world. I think Dr. Janneh gave an accurate naration of the prison conditions in Mile Two. Former NAM, Demba Dem relayed something similar if not worse to what Dr. Janneh narated. The numerous deaths there, the latest, 3 inmates died within a week is as a result of poor prison conditions and inhumane torture. For a person in the capacity of a NAM to come out this way, shows the low level to which some of these representatives can get. What a shame! I just believe if people cannot be honest with the little things, they will not be honest with the big things. Most of those that work with Jammeh think that by being bleeting goats making the louder noise, they can be spared from Jammeh's electric sweeping broom. FYI, Mile two is jammeh's final destination. We will hopefully get a chance to hear him wine and cry about these prison conditions one day.
