> GAMCOTRAP wishes to appreciate your kind and magnanimous gesture during the holy month of EID EL ADHA in giving praise and blessing to the Gambian polity and all Muslims in particular. GAMCOTRAP wishes to also thank you and appreciate your kind gesture towards the release of prisoners who you have pardoned. Allah the Almighty will reward you for such magnanimity and sense of forgiveness. While this is towards the right direction, GAMCOTRAP has observed that female prisoners were not considered going by the list of names of Prisoners we saw published in the local newspapers on the 29th October 2012.
> GAMCOTRAP is appealing to you in the name of Allah the Almighty to also take note of the female prisoners who also deserve to be considered in your amnesty during this holy month of TOBASKI. We feel that female prisoners deserve the same treatment as the male prisoners on a day like that.
