Kukeh and Giuseppe,

Let me share some thoughts on Democracy:

I agree with Kukeh that democracy is not and will never be built on a board because democracy is proprietary adjective. Human democracy, Animal democracy, or plant democracy are all evolutive and proprietary. synopsis from my upcoming book.

I also agree with Giuseppe in that democracy or not, no one will seize my power-of-attorney to speak for me or claim to deliberate on my behalf. That permission must be sought from me or expressly granted. This has no bearing on whether the person is fighting an elephant or a mouse or a serial killer.

Now then, when it comes to national enterprise, any citizen can engage to prosecute crimes against his/her fellow citizens, but he/she must do it in his/her own name and on his/her own accord without subborning fraudulent agency of his/her fellows. The other citizens are free to join him/her and it is to his/her discretion to accept their company. Those persons are also free to initiate a fight to prosecute national crime and under a separate banner.

It is generally insignificant who worked for Yahya. Should anyone else be interested in interrogating their value while they served Yahya, they must be free to interrogate that value and absent the commission of crime or being accessory to crime, temperance in that interrogation is best advised. In either case of server or interrogator, neither may subborn fraudulent agency of their fellow citizen/s.

For my part, neither Giuseppe, nor Drs Janneh or Sidat Jobe, nor Kukeh, speaks or acts on my behalf. No matter their reasonings. If any should pretend to be acting or speaking on my behalf without my express permission, they will find me at the other end of their tomfoolery. Again, this is democracy or no democracy. The crimes of Yahya against his fellow citizens can and will be prosecuted without the prosecutor aspiring to the mantle of leadership as reward.

Haruna.

Joe,
We must agree that democracy is never built  at the drawing board. It is a long and arduous, make-it up as you go kind of a process and there that will be many challenges along the way. The point some of us are trying to make is that Drs Janneh and Jobe's may be important but not as urgent as getting this elephant in the room a good place to retire. I believe that we need all hands on the deck so to speak to deal with that. And that our focus should be on ABBY - AnyBody But Yahya.

We must trust that after Abby, Gambians will be mature enough to know what to look for in their leader. As they say third time's a charm

Fatou, thanks for your thoughts. I did not intend to clutter you all's mail boxes. I just followed basic e-mail protocol to reply to all that were sent mail on the same thread. It was Demba who copied everyone and I just responded since I am one of those critics. You never see me copy anything to this or any other list before. Would I be assuming right that what Demba forwarded you is ok and my response is the irritant? So, sorry for the irritation.

Now, regarding the comment about moving on, I disagree with your take. I cannot work with someone I cannot trust. If you Fatou can trust and work with Amadou you have all the right to do so. However, others have the same rights and they should be respected as well. Let those who continue to build build and let those that continue destroy, to destroy.

Regards,

Joe,
How do we all move on then from here. It is 10 years since these emails. WE are all growing older and hopefully wiser. Yaya and his APRC machine has tainted a lot of Gambians, some willingly and  well some claim they were trapped. I do not believe in their stories and excuses .Majority of them were moved by sheer greed and think they can outsmart the BIG GUY. I am very skeptical of most of these APRC rejects. Some of them i know and many others i do not at a personal level. They are back to base and want to join the liberation fight. I will not trust any of them, but we will have to forgive at some point and move on. Of course they have all derailed the strength of the fight but we have to embrace each other and move on. We're sick of the merry-go-round, but i think all Gambians are on the same page now where Jammeh is concerned. Just a collective pounce is all what is needed.

Look at now Essa Sey and Ebou Jallow. We can only make an impact if we move along together and hopefully those reading these stories will be careful not to flip-flop on our efforts in the future, and hopefully the Kanilai monster will be gone by then.We cannot get stuck on these folks. Now they know better. Please lets' move on. Am receiving these email forwards from George....

So, why is this contineous lie about why Amadou joined the person he knew to be killing Gambians and even diagnose those that preceded him? Wedy Gis Borkucha! Those coming to sell us sugar pill, you are doing damage to your reputation but if you do not mind I say keep blasting to your health. Amadou left a very long trail and you will be smack in the face with his own words every time you want to defend the indefensible.

Dr. Janneh was our guest at Gainako radio. The embattled Dr. openly responded to his critics and cleared the air on his role and reason for joining the Jammeh regime and the struggle against impunity... Unfortunately, due to network issues we are not able to bring you all the interview at one sitting... Stay tuned and we will bring you second installment of the Interview with the Dr.

Thanks for listening... http://caelos.com/gainako/

Your feedback negative or positive are always greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Demba
