Indeed Haruna.  Demba I cannot imagine genuine dissenting voices within the
A(F)PRC. The minority leaders appeal will only be heeded if it suits their
modus operandi.

Only wholesale changes  can get us out of this mess. Jammeh has such a
stranglehold on everything including the not so independent IEC, it sad to
say, the opposition will never pass one meaningful bill in that assembly
while the "all powerful mansa" is at the helm.

A tactical alliance would be beneficial but would not amount to much. Even
if a coalition is managed at presidential polls and the opposition wins we
might only end up with a Kenya or Ivory coast scenario.
