Haruna,

I spoke with them and I couldn't care what title or position they held.

I called Captain Saine as well and he was not cooperative. He ended up excusing himself by saying that he was not handling it. I won't stop there and I informed those I spoke with.  The next person is Numo Kujabi, their overal boss. Until our people our free, we will have to break some of the protocols. We are citizens. We are not criminals, rather they are the ones running the state terror machinery. We will not beg for our God-given right, which is basic freedom, but demand and establish it.

Thanks for the rejoinders and make it a great night.

Best regards,
Yero

Subject: [G_L] Citizen's Right to Know

Folks,

I called the NIA Investigative Office, 220-997-2418, and the person I spoke with to enquire about Mr. Abdoulie John a citizen who reported there this morning and they are keeping him for more than two hours for a check up which normally last for 15-20 mins. It is worrying on the spree of their witch hunting, especially after they insisted on him submitting his laptop and cell phone.

I also enquired about Imam Baba Leigh's whereabout.

It must be important to be noted as citizen's we are entitled to know. I gave my full name but the one I spoke with was more interested in me going to the Gambia to do follow up, or what I do, where in the Gambia I am from, where I heard the information from, etc....the kinds of defensive characters are really scary.

I put it to him that I am an ordinary citizen concerned about the welfare of Gambians and that every person will be accountable on their actions. The guy won't just let me put my points across and he hung up.

Please place a call and tell them to stop the tortures.

Best regards,
Yero
