Thanks Cherno,
It seems Jammeh is hopefully seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. He is reportedly re-instating his former colleagues, Kuyateh, Jawneh and Jarju. Kuyateh and Jawneh has been relieved off duty for over a decade and a half now for no legal reason. These officers are seasoned gendarmerie officers with great service records and their previous unlawful dismissals have rob the nations of their expertise and experiences. Turow Jawneh, for instance has been the state guards commander for years prior to handing over to Bajo in the early 1990s and Jammeh had served under him for years. About the illness of the dictator, it is well known that Jammeh has been suffering from diabetes for years and has frequently undergone treatment in France. Since he started his war with the EU, he cannot go for that regular treatment.
Thanks,
Kejau

Gambian President Is Reported To Be Sick!
Gambian President Is Reported To BeSick!
Trusted aides of Yahya Jammeh have reported that the President is sick. Dictator Jammeh is draining and dramatically losing weight, the Jameh aides told the Freedom Newspaper. Jammeh’s latest health problem is becoming a concern to those close to him. Physically, Jammeh appeared to be very okay, but his aides are reporting that the man is indeed sick. His medical condition is worrying so to speak, the aides added. Jammeh’s trusted lieutenants are warning that the Kanilai monster is likely to succumb to his illness, which is likely to throw this impoverished West African country into a potential power vacuum.

In the meantime, we also heard of the reinstatement of former dismissed NIA agents. A good number of NIA officers who were dismissed for political reasons have been reinstated. One Momodou Lamin Jarju, a former close confidant of Abdoulie Kujabi, the erstwhile NIA DG is among those reinstated.

At the police, Throw Jawneh, the former head of Security at the Senegambia Beach Hotel has been reinstated. His wife launched an appeal on his behalf to Jammeh to have him reinstated. Throw Jawneh is the Commissioner of police in charge of the Tourism Development Area.

The dismissed police Finance OC Lansana Kuyateh too has been reinstated. Kuyateh was sacked after he was allegedly turned in by the late Manlafi Sanyang after been accused of being an opposition sympathizer.
