I am glad you like it. You got me using my lexicon to check on the meaning of certain words --you are very powerful with words.

Walking in Muddy Waters

It was many years ago while I was young

I saw people walking in muddy waters

Crossing shallow rivers and tributaries to other banks

Despite the troubles and uneasy crossing

They still managed to make it to the other banks

 As I reflect back over their successful journeys

I wondered how they made it to the finish line together

I realized it was their courage, commitment and focus

The determination to do it wholeheartedly

The urgency over their mishap requiring tact and resultant force

And the respect, love and ideals they shared sincerely

It superseded their individual interests throughout the journey

So they held onto each others’ hands with all the love

Saying, “Hang onto my hand brother! We are together in this journey”

That was how they made it to the finish line smiley and unhurt.
