Yeah cousin Haruna. This partner of mine in Gainako crime is loaded but I can't extract anything from the fula boy... way way too short in selling himself. As they tease us village boys; "you can take the boy out of the village but can't take the village out of the boy" Brilliant, detail oriented and mathematician but.... I guess I need to hire a PR person  to work on him.. I can't even get his poems on Gainako gesh!!!!

You are too kind Yero and you sell yourself short as Halima and Cous Demba are wont to quip. I enjoy your thoughtful poems nonetheless and I encourage you to keep sharing of your brilliance. Your timing is always spot-on too! Amazing.

Haruna.

Dear Haruna,

I am glad you like it. You got me using my lexicon to check on the meaning of certain words --you are very powerful with words.

That aside, I hope both parties just take some cool-aid and look beyond some of what just drags us back, as you rightly put it, CIW.

Best for the summer & thanks for your encouragement always.
Yero.

Wise counsel brother Yero. Thank you for sharing. Not much commoner relief can be attained in our solitudes. The idea of Cumulative Infinitesimal Worth (CIW).

Haruna.

Walking in Muddy Waters
By Yero Jallow
It was many years ago while I was young
I saw people walking in muddy waters
Crossing shallow rivers and tributaries to other banks
Despite the troubles and uneasy crossing
They still managed to make it to the other banks
As I reflect back over their successful journeys
I wondered how they made it to the finish line together
I realized it was their courage, commitment and focus
The determination to do it wholeheartedly
The urgency over their mishap requiring tact and resultant force
And the respect, love and ideals they shared sincerely
It superseded their individual interests throughout the journey
So they held onto each others’ hands with all the love
Saying, “Hang onto my hand brother! We are together in this journey”
That was how they made it to the finish line smiley and unhurt.
