All what Halifa exhibit for certain is beyond my imagination. In 1987 on one of his writings he class Swaibou Conateh postulation as a classic case of intellectual dishonesty. I am wandering if Halifa Sallah I know whose first publisise Pamphlet- Senegambia Confereration fact, myths and reality a show of my entitlightment is himself not carried by intellectual dishonesty at a critical time in our history?

"As far as we are concerned your comments reveal a classic case of making political commentaries from the disadvantageous position of political innocence." Halifa Sallah

DA Jawo politically innocent, what does Halifa means? Is he trying to say, anyone away from the political landscape is politically innocent? To brand DA Jawo politically innocent is an insult to say the least. Come on, in as much we want to look the other way for the sake of Unity, this kind of statements are over the top. DA Jawo practised journalism for over God knows how long, in the Gambia, yet branding such a person politically innocent is uncall for. However, I am not surprise in Halifa arriving at such a conclusion, afterall they/he is the expert. The expertise he acquired over 30 years in politicking in the Gambia haven't produce any tangible solution yet. DA, don't worry about the assumption of the Big man, he has it all under control.
