Even though I never met these guys but the many I shared conversation with on the clip believe it is Jobarteh, Wowo and the group members mentioned. I don't think voice recognition experts are needed further. It certainly shows the level to which our Gambia is in trouble. The person in Chief Justice (CJ Wowo), the person in Gambia's Justice Minister (Jobarteh) were recorded talking openly without shame, without fear of the law, without fear of God, without consideration of country men's plight, without respect for justice for which they swore to uphold, without thinking about what history to send to succeeding generations...wow!
Only God knows what these folks did and didn't know. While we blame them, we should look at the head of house in the person of Jammeh. A child learns exactly what he/she sees the parents doing. This mirrors Jammeh's own. The immorality, corruption, division, terror, and even the underdevelopment Jammeh painted the PPP administration has certainly multiplied exponentially under his watch. I submit under no small terms that Gambians must do "tesito" to rid the man. The more he stays, the more problems. I do not see anyway around this. If you look at America's liberation, Washington and his gallant soldiers all committed treason under the British law then to rid their captives. Jammeh in my view is just a useless person who acts a fool of himself and doesn't deserve the importance and attention that he has been getting. It is time to kick a butt. He must be confronted from all angles, travel ban, isolation, and even punishment on diplomatic relation.
With all the activities we have around, I am wondering why the hague court is unable to decide on Jammeh. It shows the level to which some of these laws are not truly representing. Why do we have to wait till later for example in the case of former Chad dictator? Jammeh's own things are in the open. Is that Gambians are not pushing enough or is it that our educated folks are just too consumed on their own things. I just worry sometimes. After Jammeh, we do not want any surprises. So come and fight for us.
Best,
Yero.

Haruna: these are scary details. I honestly agree with you that the "killing" orders are certainly worse. In pular, we say "wonaa koh maayeetan yurmeenee" (not only the death are sympathetic). I must tell you that this video reveals a lot. Haruna, don't forget that it was under their watch that these "executions" of prisoners were conducted. This is a same to our justice system. Best regards, Yero.
