It is not true that Yaya Jammeh brought any development in Gambia. He is a dangerous criminal full of deception. He tells lies about oil, Vision 2020, transformation of Gambia into world class superpower nation without any feasibility studies or simple project proposal. He lies to his teeth. He is a killer, full tail end of a beast. He does not deserve respect as that is outside his value systems. Gambia is so badly ruined because of this criminal.

You asked if I respect your opinion from a different political support point. The answer is emphatically yes and you are welcome to agree and disagree all day and night. Part of what we are fighting for in the Gambia, is exactly what you stated below --respecting others' rights for free opinion, existence, and association. That is what the criminal in the person of Jammeh has denied Gambians. Moreover, we have seen lots of serious human rights violations including the most gruesome crimes to the level of deaths. I guess party supporters like yourself don't see that.
Allow me make a correction that I do not belong to any diaspora or home-based political party. Needless to remind you or anyone else, that I am an ordinary concerned citizen. I believe in the freedom of man everwhere. I believe that the Gambia should be free from the clutches of tyranny.
On another note, may I remind you that development go hand-in-hand with peace, stability, respect for peaceful co-existence and freedom of association and opinion. The so-called developments that I hear about are mere propaganda tools. We cannot talk about the development of any nation without its citizens being able to exercise their basic democratic principles. Such requires the ingredients of democracy and rule of law to be present.
How some APRC party supporters are too blinded to see all that is happening in the Gambia beats me. With due respect to you, your educational and life experience, I say to evaluate things properly and you will realize that it is infact true that whatever the noise is about this regime. Oh well, ollof nyuneh "kuu jehkah yuuhuu moo chaalit" and we have seen a hand full of the so-called party supporters change colors no sooner than they leave that country and we know exactly what their new story is versus the old one. If there is any lesson to draw, it is selfishness, opportunism, criminality, blind support, political hypocrisy, and you comeplete the rest that is inside some of these minds.
Alhaji, please hang in there....allow us to vent out. Dig in a little bit and use your experience and education to evaluate honestly, and you will realize that it is infact true. We all have to fight to free Gambians.

May I affirm that I am utterly disappointed at the style, level and mannerisms of your oppositions in the diaspora. I'm one of those diehard President Jammeh supporters on the basis of the achievements, mininal to you, grandiose to me; he has been able to bring to the Gambia. The UNIVERSITY alone is a case in point. Where a population remains ignorant, all other things fail. I hail him for that. I have a lot to compare and contrast. I was born in the colonial days, educated in the pre independence and post independence eras. I have seen a lot of the Jawara 30-year incompetent and dysfuntional regime. I came to Europe during the Jawara days unable to make a meaningful headway in education because of my tribal link. Here in Europe I have read a lot about the White man and his viccisitudes. I have gone through Kwame Nkrumah's "Conscientism" and Walter Rodney's "How Europe Underdeveloped Africa". As long as we have a maze of African citizens who continue to revere the neocolonial virtues, we'll remain where we were before, during and the aftermath of political independence.
I have a diverse opinion from you and I only hope you respect mine as I have no rencour for your opposition to our able President and all that he stands for. "Africa's truths and rights" will never be surfaced as long as the EU, UN and the world bodies are commandeered by the white man. I remain excluded from your ideals!

By the time that his marriage of convenience with Jammeh ends, he too gets to taste the hell that his predecessors are currently going through --humiliation, persecution, and if not lucky death. They will blame nobody but themselves.
Oh well, Sabally openly castigated the Mandinkas, Darboe and the UDP on national TV. Now Darboe reports to the NIA tomorrow. It should have been the other way round folks. The criminals and aggressors are Sabally (Hitler-inspired ), Jammeh and their thugs. It should have been Sabally, Jammeh and the others being questioned at the NIA.
The opposition and all Gambians should show solidarity with Darboe tomorrow. They should all show up at the NIA headquarters. If the NIA insist on arresting Darboe for any reason that is unlawful and a violation of his fundamental rights as a citizen, the NIA must be countered heads-on. The police and NIA headquarters must be burnt down to ashes and they should march towards the state house too aim at the main panther at the state house. Let the pseudo pillars of the dirty administration shake and tumble to the ground!!
Sabally too must not be spared as he is fully behind the whole nonsense. When I look back not far, I see Essa Badjie now languishing in jail. He was one of those behind Femi Peters' arrest. Now Femi is a freeman and Essa gets to be a captive for as long as Jammeh rules. The loud mouth Ngogu was used to insult Senegal, Baba Leigh, Imam Baa Kawsu, etc...Baba Leigh and Baa Kawsu are free and Ngogu Bah lives in fear. Things are not even waiting for the hereafater. The shit happens right on earth. This Momodou Sabally is headed in a similar path if he is lucky. I will be here waiting for Sabally's stinky butt to get muddied.
For now onwards, counter every good with good and every oppression with an equal and opposite force. That is the height of democracy in a country consumed by political hypocrisy and aggression. You know better that once we start setting examples on these cowards, our country will be liberated sooner than expected. The aggressor will not willingly give up or give you your rights willingly. We would have to demand justice, equality, and respect. If the regime doesn't demonstrate it, then they certainly don't deserve it.
