Thank you very much Joe Sambou for the generous donations. May God bless
you. Indeed Gambians are among the most generous of Africans, although this
tend to be immidiate family orriented. Please people, even if it will be
£5, spear it for the funeral expenses and family support. Times are hard,
but let us extend our hands...There are many fund raising drive going on,
but this is more poignant and sobering for us...The fallen comrade did not
hold a job for over 19 years...Only by God's grace was he able to put food
on the table for his family. Shyngle Nyassi is unlike many of the
politician of the old and new generation.
We want to send this money by Saturday to coincide with the imminent
arrival of the body. If you cannot help now, hopefully remember to do so by
end of Month. Thanks again Joe. If you are in Sweden and Denmark, Germany
and you still want to help, private mail me. You can send to his son
directly in Gambia: Pa Malick Nyassi (00220 6693009) who is taking care of
things...May Allah equally bless our struggle. Ameen
