"Prosecutors alleged that Mass Kah, on 14 November 2013 between the hours of 16:00 hrs and 17:00hrs, at Latrikunda German within the Kanifing Municipality and diverse areas, with willful intention, uttered a statement against the president’s photo which one Lamin Camara was pasting on his vehicle opposite a tailoring workshop, saying: “Why not paste the photo of H.E. the president on the sky?”and thereby committed an offence" (The Point Newspaper, 11/28/13).

Folks,
While the rest of the world are celebrating thanksgiving, a spirit of unity, ours in Gambia is continually going down. Imagine a place where even something that should be taken as humor is now taken as sedition. For the above comments, who would have thought that the man will be arrested much more charged. But Jammeh and his associates can say whatever they like to others and no one does anything to them. Here is a man who could have been even joking. This is a shame!

Chei Gambia!
