All that I wrote was that Jawara was not a democrat and Karim started hurling insults and dirty accusations against my person. This is the reason, GL has been reduced to what it is now, a few commentator, as people are scared of insults and false accusations peddling against their persons. I know he is taking cue from LJD that I cannot sue Karim for defamation without giving any reason. Now I will show Karim that I will not be defamed here or anywhere else without seeking a remedy in the courts. Karim and I live in UK, he in London and I in Scotland, I will ensure that my rights not to be defamed be respected.

The PPP regime seems as bad as Yaya Jammeh, with their sycophants, fabricating very nasty accusations against anyone who dare criticize them and their leader. Yaya has copied the same from PPP and has perfected it. Those of us and our parents who were victims of the PPP regimes dirty tactics will bear witness to this. For instance:
Sheriff Saikou Sisay, who was one time a finance minister before his death, with his family and friends were victims of this witch hunt. He formed the PPA in the late 1970s, and his house was constantly watched by the the special branch, the then NIA, and many family members and friends lost their jobs if they are seen visiting his house. The PPP regime never forgive Kudang and people from Kudang for this and they have constantly been sideline and refused seats in the PPP as MP for years. It is very well known fact that the people from Kudang are one of the first western educate people and the most educated comparative in The Gambia and still boasts of doctors, professors, engineers and other professionals around the world and in The Gambia. In fact, Jawara may never have been president if Dr. Lamin Marenah, my uncle, a native of Kudang, who was Agric director then, had accepted the protectorate elders and not referred them to Sir Dawda, he mentioned this in his book.

This is the reason I said it is an insult to our intelligence to call Jawara a democrat.
