Brother Suntou Ramadan Mubarak. From my understanding the leaked report
were assessments and observations made by the Chair. Effectively it
identified the challenges CORDEG faces internally and externally. To me it
appears to be an preliminary report on what CORDEG needs to overcome...

Suntou, it is amazing how we are turning this CORDEG saga into issues many
feared is capable of bringing down even our entire nation. We all knew from
the get go that there are two sensitive things that may hinder the progress
of CORDEG or any organization for that matter. The issue of Tribal and
Partisan sentiments are two dangerous things we must all stay away from.
Dr. Saine may have made a mistake bringing the issue of UDP during his
Freedom interview, but Dr. Saine is NOT CORDEG and CORDEG is not Dr. Saine.
CORDEG is a National project we all help orchestrate until things did not
go our way...

Suntou, we have all observed how for months you have fan the flames of
discord and partisan sentiments on this very forum purporting it to be
about asking questions. Let's stop these destructive tactics. If Alkali
Conteh who I respect dearly was the Chair of CORDEG you wouldn't be
parading sentiments here. Apparently, the divisions that has plague the UK
groups until you were forced to forge a united from has made it to CORDEG.
We cannot allow our personal differences to hinder the progress we
desperately need against the tyrant.

You are again focusing on a supposed marriage between CORDEG and GCC which
was simply mentioned on a face book posting yesterday. Already asking
questions such as "who will give way to who"... ? Amazing!!! Why is this
about who gives way to who? Why is this about who spoke in what language?
Why is this about tribal and or partisan politics? Why are we interested in
putting a wedge between people who needs to work together for the interest
of our nation and communities? Why can't we work together?

We don't have to like each other to work together. We don't have to belong
to the same ethnic group or political party to work together. Let's not
allow ourselves to be used to plant seeds of discord within groups who need
each other. That is what I see happening here... You are affiliated with a
medium now and how that came about we are all aware. Let's stop dividing
people and obstructing what we all need to move our country forward...

THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE UDP and any fair minded Gambian who is interested in
progress cannot and should not make this about the UDP including the
leadership of CORDEG. They were wrong in pointing fingers even if it was
apparent in how GDAG folks behave. It was a mistake and it must not be used
to destroy what is left of any hope of bringing our people together... Our
individual differences are being carried into our national projects... How
many people come to our network and speak one language or another, how many
leaders did you bring to your network and speak to them in a particular
language instead of the so called neutral language. Why is speaking in
wollof, mandinka or Jola an issue for Dr. Saine. Who dictates what language
you speak when you go to a network for an interview? Wow! Seriously this is
a problem???????

May Allah guide us on the right path and may he expose all the hidden
agendas no matter where or who harbors them.... This is about Gambia and
nothing but about Gambia... I pray that cooler heads prevail again.

Demba
