“The reward, of course, is the satisfaction that could be gained from faithfully and playing that role, however small or great, of making a contribution, directly or indirectly to bringing about some positive change in the lives of one’s own people.

“Therefore, I feel deeply indebted to H.E. the President of the Republic, Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr. Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh for the offer of this privilege and opportunity to serve, which I accept with assurances of my fullest loyalty to him, as the inspiring instrumental leader of the time-honoured campaign for the development of the country we all cherish”.

Ok. Here is another of our Doctors, a decorated civil servant, with his old war boots soaked, getting himself in, comfortably too. What happen to his predecessors doesn't pose neither a worry nor a concern. That Momodou Saballay, Ngogu bah, and the many of their list were just pure senseless, insincere bunch, ignorant, inexperienced, unpatriotic, and clueless. So this man (God help me pronounce his name please b.a.y.o) thinks he got it and can make the difference. Ok, we are waiting.

To say something is wrong is an understatement. It is the belief in material over principle, the belief in being in power over what power is suppose to offer, the belief in destruction over development, hypocrisy over truthfulness, etc....it is no doubt a sickness, an incurable cankerworm plying our own educated and thoughtfully experienced ones.

Enuf, enuf, and enuf with the suicide....
