The last 20 years with Yahya at the helm has put us through many such emotions. 

Just to recycle few! 

When Koro's dead was made public reportedly due to an accident at a culvert between Jambur and Jambanjelly - our nation went somber.  His age/youth, intelligence and vibrancy made it all too personal to many including those who didn't know him in person.

The murderous killing of about a dozen demonstrating students was another such events. We went cold and mourn with helpless grieve. 

Recently Buba Baldeh's remains we're reported denied return for burial at his home. We mourn and the crowd went ballistic in grieve.

In between these 3 are many others that hit us at the core of human emotions. Yet the politically timid culture swallowed her pain on deep grieve.

What will come next? Who's turn with similar fate is next? After all are these events worst than the many forced to live in exile, lose their livelihoods, private properties seized, etc? How about the many who can't jump out and has to live with the wrath on daily bases. 

Whether or not one spends time analyzing all these interconnected variables of political culture we're all undeniably affected and in wrong ways. If you are in denial check out with errand boys Njogou Bah, Lamin Waa Juwara and/or Momodou Sabally.

How long can we keep narrating these happenings as if someone out there  didn't know? What more are we waiting before we work to solve these problems? Who're we waiting to fix these problems? Are we waiting for the political parties for a fix? Is the diaspora the answer?  Etc?

I consider myself less emotional than the average citizens. However, I think is folly to assume that the occurrence of some emotionally charged event will trigger a revolt. Maybe/maybe not! Even if it those how much control can we exert over such happenings. What if that turn to be worse than it is now? 

The answers lie with us. Our deliberate choices and not our emotions! Our cause is not about the occurrence of some emotionally inflicted event but our sovereignty as citizens of a Republic. The solutions are our deliberate actions, methodically pursued on our terms.
