Which should be global priority - clImate change or (poverty, famine, disease pandemics, war). Or it shouldn't be one or the other?

Or if living conditions of the poor are improved will result to more carbon emission? That could make sense - living rudimentary definitely has little carbon emission compared to Al Gore flying in a jetliner and traveling in gas hungry SUVs. Carbon emitted from a trip of Air Force 1 May be more than my lifetime contribution.

Can climate change be measured by whether one year or even 10 years in US is cold/hot? In terms of size what % of the earth is US? Of even carbon emissions % of US compared to the rest of the world?

I thought maybe some global averages could be helpful over a period to show some direction of change. Some TV scientists were arguing based on US data.......am confused!

Who can despise a clean atmosphere?

But nations are not air tight houses. If one or handful of nations reduce carbon emission what will that impact the supposed Climate Change (formally Global Warming)? Well maybe reduction of anything bad anywhere is helpful........I guess the question is a white cost.

Can that cost be employ to help alleviate the untold suffering of people all over the world? Could such help indirectly/directly ameliorate environmental conditions?

Cleaning the environment can only noble. Increasing doubts though - the earlier predictions of rising seas and melting ices hasn't turn true.

Myself I planted or supervised planting of millions of trees - I hope at least few are still green.
