We are mismanaged as a result poor. Nations have to be able to create wealth for its citizens to attain certain earning levels. Certainly there are plenty resources to create employment and thus wealth. Without the ability to turn our natural as well as human resources into monetary values and purchasing power we will remain a poor and underdeveloped nation.
