Writing is an element of proper and verifiable documentation of actions and/in actions

Documentation is not only an essential ingredient of functioning democracy but also rule of law (source of evidences).

By writing if we mean - theory. Isn't that a problem?

Who amongst us last December forecast his/her annual earning, estimate expenses and free cash flow. How did you benefit from that information in the 10th of the year? Or this is theory just go week to week.... That's it!

Well whatever your view - I hold that we were fortunate to be schooled to be different in better ways than my non school parents. Better in practical ways!

Why road at X place and not Y. Why order these tons cement and not that much? Why cook 10 cups of rice for lunch at home and not 20? Why build  19 high schools and not 50?  Many at times real life situations are even more complex but our best answers are in the most accurate available information otherwise a guessing game.

Articulating your dream building plan on a piece of paper? Is that theory?

Map our the journey to Mars?

Stick kids chore chart on a fridge door?

Annual estimation of plans and budgets?

Annual estimation of remittance to family and friends?

A proposal how I think we can make Gambia a functioning democracy?

What's theory?

Recollect from high school -  titration theory in chemistry, Newton's law in physics, Pythagorean theorem in mathematics, demand and supply in Economics, Galileo theory, etc. Do any or all of these make any sense to your daily living today? I bet they do! At Muslim High School I used to frown about negative numbers or ab + ax.

What's theory? What's wrong with theory? Or do we mean anything written is theory- that appears to be the case
