2014 is fast approaching the end. I wonder if you had account your finances - how much you made, what was the sources, what did you do to make that earnings; how did you spent that income, how much did you spent on each cost center, what percentage is saved and how. How did you do - your actuals against plans/projections?

When did you start accounting your resources? Does it help in properly managing your resources?

2015 is fast approaching - life is such that we can't usually work to the very end. Suffice to say we need to plan for those precious years that we can't produce but would want to live in comfort. For many of us if not all - wealth is never generated overnight and/or in bulk. Goodness we can help this by proper management (that includes Producing, savings and investments).

Am offering folks free basic services - how to account for your income. I believe knowing this will help you make inform decisions what you may do, could do and/or want do.

I have developed a simple template in Numbers (Apple version of Excel) that I can provide you. Is mainly configured with formulas - with basic idea of excel you shouldn't have any problem. In the privacy of your own world you can put your labor in concise picture that you can understand.

The template has the following

1) Projected Income statement - gives you an idea what you think will earn in 2015 or any forwarding 12 months

2) Actual income - weekly, biweekly, monthly and year and by source

3) Monthly living expenses

Numbers 2&3 gives you an idea of your cash flow (-/+). That alone will help you make decisions what to do to improve your cash flow. Cash flow is the basic of any financial management - if not positive and/or handsome one can't do nothing. Remember what we called hand to mouth

4) Remittance and family support- money send to Banjul - amount, rate, fees, transfer agent, etc.

5) numbers 5-7 are project costing templates - in case you have a project in Banjul, it will help account money input, when and on what

6)  template 8 summaries all in a sheet- income, expenses by cost center and cash balance.

The template can be modified to suit your personal
needs or your can develop one yourself. You could also search for the net for some free personal finance management tools. Or you could by a specialized software. Professional versions are also available.

No intent to involve in your personal life. If you think this will help - is free. If you want to use or just look at the templates flash me at my personal email.
