Malanding, Doctor of Philosophy and International Merit Award as Ambassador of Integrity for services to GL

Our own high school classmate (Dr Henry D R Carol) got one of these awards last year

Demba and Baba have something going for their view that some of the new PhD's, Colley of KMC in particular, are headed for the rocks. They at least had the good sense to stay away from the award ceremony. We must now wait to see whether the newly minted Doctors would append their salivating titles to their honoured names. Dr Lamin Manga, Director General, GRTS, sounds fabulous. Nicer still is Dr Yankuba Colley, Mayor, KMC, and National Mobilser of the APRC. We live in truly insightful times. I'm submitting recommendations for Baba, Demba, and myself. Are you interested Kejau? Lemme know!

"The Pastors Intercessory Fellowship International-The Gambia and Ecumenical Merit Award Commission International Inc. Nigeria and USA... hmmmm sounds like someone is looking for  direct linkage to Allah's bank in Gambia!!!!!!!!!!

By virtue of measuring to King Jiffy James' highest prestigious status, the following people have just been permanently book marked for attrition.. Mayor Yankuba Colley of the Kanifing Municipality; Mayor Abdullahi Bah of Banjul City; Honorable Edward Anthony Gomez; Mustapha Njie and Lamin Manga of GRTS...

We shall patiently wait for this final verdict!

Thanks for sharing Dr. Jaiteh.

Well, doctorate degrees may now be awarded by anyone to anyone. Universities and Colleges no longer have the monopoly to award doctoral degrees. And you don't have to be an expert in any academic field to obtain a Ph. D. and even become a professor without ever standing in a college classroom (behold our own "professor" of AIDs, swords and worry beads!!!) I have a feeling that the mayors of Kanifing and Banjul have crossed one of the chief fropessor's forbidden boundaries. Thanks for sharing this sad story Malanding. It almost literally smells of corruption!!

Best,
Baba
