I share some of your views. However, I think in the absence of such a political program, a coup could be a viable option.

Is it the GNA, some former army officers as reported, or a combination of both? Coups have consequences. Failed coups have even far reaching consequences, especially under a dictatorship. A licence for Yaya to be even more repressive? You bet. I continue to believe very strongly that a successful coup can only be executed by Yaya's own security elites. Anything short of that is a non-stater as far as I am concerned.
